Guided Self-Care Massage

Give yourself the gift of your own care-full attention and healing intention. Use the simple tools, such as massage balls, to traverse the terrain of your body, release adhesions and stuck soft tissue, and re-activate the parasympathetic nervous system for deep restoration.

Introduction to Ayurveda

with Karla Cain

Learn more about your unique constitution in this session led by NAMA Board credentialed Ayurveda Practitioner and Behavioral Change Specialist, Karla Cain. You'll come away with a better understanding of your unique design and how you can become more balanced and find healing through specific foods and lifestyle practices that affect not just the body, but the mental, emotional and spiritual states as well.

The Mind-Thought-Body Connection

Simultaneously, the state of our physical health can impact how happy, positive, and stable we feel. In this session, we will explore the connection between our mind, our thoughts, and our body as it relates to the expression of health and our ability to maintain it throughout our lives. You will learn how each influences the other in an intricate and interwoven web of balance.

Increase Your Resilience by Finding Your Calm

Stress is a feeling we all experience at some point in our lives when we are excited, overwhelmed, or when we experience challenges or transitions. However, stress is more than just an emotion. It is a physical response that takes place in the entire body, from the brain to the internal organs - on a large scale to the cellular level. In this session, you will learn to recognize the signs of stress overload, and you will be empowered with mindful practices that will help you build self-awareness & resilience. 

 

Experience mindful breathing methods to help you beat stress, anxiety, and fear & use your imagination during guided-imagery and Yoga Nidra mindfulness practices.

Healing through Ayurveda: The 6 Tastes

In this dynamic session, Karla will talk about the basics of Ayurvedic nutrition and how the 6 Tastes of Ayurveda apply to all foods. You will learn how the qualities of each taste cause balance or imbalance. You'll come away with an understanding of how to eat for your unique constitution (dosha) and you'll learn not just what to eat - but when and how to eat for optimal health and healing.

Come to this session ready to hear how certain foods can function as medicine and witness how the foods you eat may be affecting you at a deeper level.
