In this session, you will learn to recognize the signs of stress overload, and you will be empowered with mindful practices that will help you build self-awareness & resilience. 


Experience mindful breathing methods to help you beat stress, anxiety, and fear & use your imagination during guided-imagery and Yoga Nidra mindfulness practices.

Healing through Ayurveda: The 6 Tastes

In this dynamic session, Karla will talk about the basics of Ayurvedic nutrition and how the 6 Tastes of Ayurveda apply to all foods. You will learn how the qualities of each taste cause balance or imbalance. You'll come away with an understanding of how to eat for your unique constitution (dosha) and you'll learn not just what to eat - but when and how to eat for optimal health and healing.

Come to this session ready to hear how certain foods can function as medicine and witness how the foods you eat may be affecting you at a deeper level.

Founder - Sattvic Sage Ayurveda & Yoga

Karla's extensive corporate experience in finance led her to experience disconnection, anxiety, imbalance, and illness. Her personal journey to wellness includes a 100-lb. weight loss and a new life filled with abundant health. In 2015, after years of study & having found a true passion for Ayurveda, she consciously left the corporate world to make holistic healing her primary focus. She has studied Yoga, Ayurveda, Meditation, Ayurvedic Herbs, and Panchakarma Therapies in the USA, Italy, and India. Karla has completed countless courses, workshops, and conferences in these Eastern Healing Arts as well as Western Anatomy, Nutrition, and Herbology. She is also a national ACE-Certified Fitness Instructor & Behavior Change Specialist. Karla is passionate about bringing the healing power of Ayurveda to others.

Alexa aims to provide a comforting and empowering presence to participate in your ongoing experience of healing. She enjoys working with individuals from all walks of life and specializes in bringing healing to weekend warriors and athletes of all kinds. In her practice, she creates a space for the nervous system to reset and return to moving joyfully and well.

Alexa also teaches Discoverypoint School of Massage in Seattle and is certified in manual lymphatic drainage. MLD is a gentle and deeply soothing modality used to support healthy lymphatic systems, assist recovery for active bodies, and manage symptoms for those with compromised lymphatic systems.

Melanie is a wholistic and functional Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Mindset Coach based out of Los Angeles. Her private practice, Wholistic Ritual, focuses on uncovering her patients' unique equilibrium by using food and nutrition as the primary healing tool. Melanie specializes in nutrition for longevity and the healthspan. She focuses on uncovering her patient’s unique equilibrium by using food and nutrition as the primary healing tool, utilizing a variety of alternative healing modalities including mindfulness, emotional energy clearing, movement,  homeopathic remedies and self-care practices to help her patients achieve unconditional joy.

Julia has deeply studied Yoga, dance, meditation, movement therapy, and integral anatomy for over twenty years. Her wish is to uncover and harness the curiosity and compassion within us, so that we may each continue our journey inward and onward with faith, steadiness and ease.

Devika is certified through the Kane School of Core Integration, a program that integrates the Pilates method with sound biomechanical principles and focusing on injury prevention. She has worked with students of all levels and has experience with osteoporosis and degenerative disc disease, scoliosis, chronic neck and back pain, students living with MS, and has certifications in Pre- and Post-Natal Pilates. She believes movement should feel GOOD! Informed by her practice as a dancer and a yogi, Devika aims to give her clients a full-bodied and gratifying movement experience.

  • What if I have to miss a session?
    All of the sessions in this virtual retreat will be recorded. After the retreat, you will be sent a private link so you can review your favorite sessions whenever you'd like! Your access to recorded sessions is active for 6 months after the retreat.
  • In what time zone is the the Virtual Retreat scheduled to take place?
    All session times are scheduled in the Pacific Standard Time Zone. Please adjust times to your own time zone.
  • What platform are you using to facilitate the sessions?
    We will be using ZOOM for all sessions. Please make sure you have created an account and that you know how to use ZOOM before the start of the event. Prior to the virtual retreat, you will be sent links for each scheduled session. If ZOOM has an outage or if technical difficulties occur with the ZOOM platform, session may take place on Google Meet.
  • Can I participate if I have an injury or physical limitation?
    Of course! If you are under a doctor's care for a physical condition that would prevent you from exercising, you can choose not to attend those sessions for now. All sessions, including movement sessions, will be recorded and can be viewed by participants for 6 months after the retreat. We ask that you pay attention to how your body feels during all movement, and refrain from moving through pain. When you register and pay for the virtual retreat, you will be asked to read and agree to an Informed Consent and Liabillity Waiver. This document has more information and is available for you to read at checkout. Once you register, you can request a digital copy by contacting
  • What are your refund & cancellation policies?
    Refunds - A full refund will be given up to 60 days prior to the Event with written notice. A fifty percent refund shall be issued to Event registrants up to 30 days prior to event if written notice is given. From 0 - 30 days prior to event, no refund will be given, but any credit can be applied to a future event if notice of cancellation is given in writing prior to the originally scheduled event. If no notice is given, and registrant is a "no show" no refund or credit shall be given. Cancellation of Event - If cancellation of the Virtual Retreat must take place, announcement and confirmation of cancelation will be given to the attendees at least 14 days prior to the event. Cause for cancellation includes but is not limited to insufficient paid participation, as well as circumstances outside of the control of the Core Connection LLC.
